Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends:
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Annual Meeting of the Korean Society for Investigative Dermatology (KSID), I would like to invite you to the 29th KSID Annual Meeting on March 26-27, 2021. This is a new date for the 2020 KSID meeting that was postponed due to the COVID-19. Since the COVID-19 pandemic still continues across the world, 2021 KSID Annual Meeting will be a hybrid meeting combining live broadcasts of invited overseas lectures and on-site presentations.
This meeting was organized to provide participants with an excellent scientific program, aiming at communicating cutting-edge research in dermatology. We have invited eight distinguished plenary speakers who will talk on the topics of JID publication, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and immunology, and there will also be more than ten overseas invited speakers from the scientific world. We have also prepared an opportunity for promising young researchers from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan to present their works via the KSID-JSID-TSID Frontier Symposium. Through this symposium, we anticipate greater interaction among the researchers of TSID, JSID, and KSID, which will lay the basis for furthering communication within the three academic societies. Furthermore, KSID encourages academic-industrial collaboration through sponsored symposia and luncheon seminars on the topics of photoprotection, skin epigenetics, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis. Poster presentations and free communications will be made through the online platform. We invite all participants to share in their research achievements and scientific discussions at this virtual meeting.
I would like to thank all members of the KSID Organizing Committee for their great effort in setting up this wonderful meeting. We would like to thank all participants in advance for graciously sharing their invaluable knowledge and having an animated discussion. We hope that all of you will have the chance to enjoy the meeting and experience intellectual interchange. It will also be a great opportunity to foster friendship among participants.

We anticipate seeing many of you at the 29th KSID meeting in Seoul or online.
Thank you.

President, KSID       Min-Geol Lee
